Annual Football Award |

This is a special event for the players and coaching staff and The CFA wants to make it memorable. In order to upgrade the menu catered by Aramark, The CFA purchases steaks and needs your assistance. Seniors are given a special Bulldog plaque and framed individual action photo. Any monetary donation you give towards the this event will be gratefully accepted. |
Blood & Guts CFA Award |

This Award is given annually at the Football Awards Program to a player that sets the example, not only on game day, but everyday on the practice field in preparation, dedication, mental and physical toughness that makes an outstanding player. More information » |
CFA Scholarship Fund |

Since 1995 we have been presenting a Citadel football player a scholarship in the name of The Citadel Football Association. This fund was established through the Memorial Fund at The Citadel Brigadier Foundation. Each year monies are applied to this Fund through contributions, different fund raising events, and surplus monies from our operating funds at the end of our physical year. To date we have been able to contribute some $45,000.00 toward a fully funded Scholarship of $400,000.00. More information » |
Summer Meals |

This program was initiated in the Summer of 2006 to allow 50+ full scholarship players (By NCAA Rule only full scholarsip persons can particpate) nine meals per week which includes five breakfast and four lunches in Mess Hall while they attend Summer School and workouts. This program is financed from proceeds form the Kevin Hggins Golf Tournament. |
Steak Night |

The "Steak Night" Program is in its 24th straight year. Steak Night is held on Sunday nights and starts at 7:15 p.m. This program provides steaks and other select entrees to the entire football team and its support staff every week throughout the season. The program has been beneficial for the players not only from a weight retention aspect, but also from a morale point of view as they eat steak each week with Citadel Alumni and friends who support this beneficial program. The players greatly appreciate this program and look forward to meeting the sponsors each week. |
Summer Vacation Program |

This is the seventh year that The Citadel Football Association (CFA) has helped with providing summer vacations for our football coaching staff. We have asked Citadel Alumni and supporters to provide a beach house, villa, or condo as donation to a football coach and his family for a week during the summer between June 15 and July 15. This is a great benefit for our football coaching staff and the donors deserve a big "Thank You" for their outstanding support of our coaches and football program. More information » |
Team Nutrition |

At the request of Head Coach Kevin Higgins, The Citadel Football Association has committed to providing annual funding for a Team Nutrition Program. This program includes pre/post workout drink mix at weight training during the entire year. Also a milk shake machine was installed in weight room next to strength office in 2008. This has proved very popular with the players after workouts. More information » |

This event kicks off the football season each year. This is the only day that all coaches are "off campus" for the day together reviewing final plans for up-coming season. During day the CFA furnishes a meal for all in attendace. This program was established by Gene Shields in 2008. |
